Ballerina

Posted Sunday, December 18th, 2005

I shot this during a dress rehearsal for a production of — what else — the Nutcracker. This is with the 80-200 f/2.8D. I love this lens.

The fact that you can’t see her face, lets the ballerina in every woman live on.

Hi John, by chance I stumbled upon your photoblog…very nice work indeed. Your practiced eye shows. Regarding the Ballerina shot (I’m married to one, so it’s of particular interest to me) it should be tagged with ‘dance’. I also enjoyed the two images so tagged, esp. the pointe shoes.
