Macro photography is a lot of fun and I think water is a great subject for it. Water can take so many amazing forms. A trick I learned while taking these shots was that you can get a lot of different effects from water just by changing its rate of flow. Slow water looks silky smooth like this; faster water has bubbles and creates a lot of spray.

For some reason this is showing as flash not fired but I’m certain I was using a flash. It’s 1/500 and f/22 indoors! Maybe it has something to do with using the flash in wireless mode.

Definitely an awesome shot. I just sat staring at it for a good couple minutes before I could even utter “wow”.
