Pollak Library, CSUF. I’ve had some opportunities to visit the local university recently so I explored the campus a little when I wasn’t busy. The campus isn’t quite deserted in the Summer but it feels empty and quiet, not bustling with activity as I imagine it is in the Fall. I believe this is the south wing of the main library. The north wing is all steel and glass and I think I may try to get a shot of that at night.
This is a combined exposure made from a single RAW image file.

That reminds me of the library at Texas Tech. It stands out like a sore 1960’s thumb surrounded by buildings designed in a 1920’s spanish style.
I like how the light from the sun can be seen from one side. It really does look like a borg ship floating in space.

Great shot! Your chosen title brought it all together for me. Nice use of combined exposure.
