Found this while cleaning up the yard today. We have three palm trees which shed leaves almost constantly, more in the Summer. The leaves turn brown, die, and fall off. They quickly turn an ashen grey color but this one was still quite a vibrant reddish brown which caught my eye. This is the inside part of the frond that hugs the trunk, giving it the curled shape.
